Conference Description

COMMON Focus 2008 is an annual workshop conference event featuring three days of intense, focused education. The conference offers in-depth, all-day educational workshops in a wide range of topic areas. Attendees can attend only one workshop per day, providing attendees the opportunity to focus their educational needs on a specific topic each day. COMMON Focus 2008 will kickoff on the evening of Sunday, October 5th with a Welcome Reception, where attendees and workshop instructors can meet and network. A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided each day, along with several breaks, giving attendees time to interact with each other. COMMON Focus 2008 will also feature a tabletop-style exhibition area, featuring a limited number of exhibitors. Attendees will be able to view and get hands-on demonstration on the latest IBM i-related solutions available to them.

Session: Domino Administration Workshop

Abstract: This workshop will help you gain the skills necessary to manage a Domino for i5/OS environment. Come learn how to manage and be proactive with Lotus Domino administration. You will learn how to solve common Domino administration mistakes and what changes you can expect with release 8. This workshop will shed light on some little known functions built into the WRKDOMSVR command, how to switch to the new OOO task, new server commands, and how to effectively use policies in your organization.
